The Livestock Summit (Sommet de l'élevage)

The opening of the 33rd Livestock Summit (Sommet de l'élevage) focused on sustainable livestock development took place in Clermont-Ferrand (France) from October 1st to 4th, 2024.
Kazakhstan was invited as a guest of honor, which shows the growing international attention to the country's achievements in the field of agro-industrial sector.
Representatives of the republican chamber on Auliyekol breed, republican chamber of Kazakh white-headed breed, heads of sheep breeding farms, poultry farming and fish farming companies were included in the delegation under the chairmanship of vice-minister of agriculture Amangaly Berdalin.
Kazakhstan presented a booth at the Summit, demonstrating to the participants more than 70 products of 30 Kazakhstan companies, including products produced by the «KUBLEI» LLP. Visitors were able to familiarize themselves with the variety of agricultural products of the country and taste them.
“Our country is one of the leaders in agricultural sector development in the Central Asian region. The annual export of agro-industrial complex products exceeds 5 billion dollars. Our goal is to increase it to 10 billion dollars in the next five years. We are working hard to open markets and hope to become a supplier of products to European countries in the near future,” noted Amangaly Berdalin at the opening of the booth.
The delegation representatives were able to establish useful contacts for business development, as well as to invite French investors to explore the possibility of investing in the country's agriculture.
All events were arranged with the assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in France.
